This was the 2nd time renting from Pelican. “ Mayor Sue” at the Welcome Center highly recommended them when we dropped into town the previous year and decided to stay. On this trip we rented a larger house a block back from the park and beach area. It was perfect! We had three couples with 2 small kids and two college age “kids” and still had plenty of room. We love Cedar Key and how friendly everyone is. Even the neighbor across the street was cool. We parked the boat conveniently in the yard and had a great time cooking and eating in the big kitchen and hanging out on the screened porch. I highly recommend this company. They run a tight ship but are not so inflexible with rental rules to stifle the laid back vibe of CK.
