Our second visit to Steamers, and it was just as good as we remembered! Steamers was one of the Cedar Key businesses hit hard by the 2024 hurricanes, losing their beautiful waterfront location. They’re currently serving guests on 2nd Street, and we were so happy to come back and support them. I had the pan-seared scallops with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and they were absolutely delicious- perfectly cooked and full of flavor. There were 8 scallops so I had to share half of them. With drawn/melted butter on the side- yum! My guy had the seafood pasta with lobster sauce, which was equally amazing. In fact, we completely forgot to take pictures of our food because we started eating the second it arrived. 😂 That’s how good it was! The service was wonderful- friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We were also thrilled to hear that Steamers is building a new location after everything they went through following the hurricanes. We can't wait to see it! There’s something extra special about visiting Cedar Key and supporting the locally owned, small-town businesses that have worked so hard to rebuild and come back stronger. Great seafood, great service, and a business we’re very happy to support. We’ll absolutely be back for visit #3! ❤️🦪🦞🌴
