The food was so amazing! The last time I was in Cedar Key (20 years ago) Frogs Landing was still here. Honestly, we were sad to learn that it had closed permanently but decided to give Steamers a try. We are NOT disappointed. To start off, we had the alligator bites. They were fried perfectly and the sauce had the right amount of bite to make it flavorful, not too spicy. Next was the lunch portion. Hubby let me order for him and I chose the Dark Rum BBQ Pork Sandwich. He LOVED every second of it. The BBQ was sweet but not overly sweet and there was just a hint of rum. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with light mozzarella and when it came out, I was shocked at how big it was. Needless to say, I had to take some of it home. Honestly, we stopped back by before we left to go home and order the stuffed mushrooms and key lime pie. We can not wait until we get to visit again. Highly recommend stopping into Steamers for lunch or dinner, or even both!
