This is our first time visiting Cedar Key. We decided to take a quick getaway yesterday with our dog Freddie. After arriving, we went to the Tipsy Cow for dinner and drinks. They are dog friendly on their outdoor patio, and they have a Doggy Menu! That's the first time I've ever seen a place have one. Freddie's review to follow. The staff is very welcoming and treated us like great friends. Our server Tiffany was Outstanding. The food was exceptional, and we had a show with out dinner. The patio is over the water, the view is mezmerizing, and the local dolphin pod was putting on a show jumping and frolicking in the ocean. We will Most Definitely be coming back when we return to Cedar Key...our future exotic getaway from the ordinary. Freddie's Review: 🐶⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Paw Review I came for the smells. I stayed for the snacks. The hoomans called it “beautiful Cedar Key.” I called it Squirrel-Free Paradise with a 10/10 Breeze. 🌊🐾 Service? Outstanding. My water bowl arrived before my hoomans’ drinks Priorities understood. 💯 Food? I wasn’t technically allowed to order everything, but after deploying my patented “sad puppy eyes,” the girl hooman brought me some shaved steak. I thought, wait, I don't have to beg? This is all for me? After waiting for what seemed like forever, she brought out the Best, most yummy burger just for me!! Is this heaven? I know we crossed a few bridges, but I don't remember a rainbow one.... The patio? Perfect for people-watching some big fishes jumping in the water, pelican-watching, and pretending I’m not staring at every table that receives fries. Final verdict: 🐾 Sniffability: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐾 Belly Rub Potential: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐾 Chance of convincing my hoomans to come back: 100% Would absolutely return… mostly because I’m pretty sure I left a little drool under the table to mark it as my favorite spot in Cedar Key, since they didn't let me pee on it.🦴🌴
