My husband, our dog and I stayed at this wonderful charming cottage in Cedar key Florida. It was a surprise trip for me and when I got there I still didn’t know where I was because I had never heard of it. Well you are all missing a little slice of heaven if you haven’t seen Cedar key Florida. And what a wonderful place to stat—Pirates Cove Cottages. The cottages were charming and immaculate, partially renovated but was told it’s an ongoing process. The owners welcomed us as if we were old friends! Brian gave us a thorough lowdown of Cedar Key and it’s 10 local restaurants, no chains of any kind. Pirates Cove Cottages has a cute little courtyard with Astroturf to avoid mud, bugs etc. which they kept clean. They left you alone as much as you wanted or would be involved in anything you need. We will definitely be coming back! And did I mention our dog Ringo enjoyed it just as much!
