History

Founded in 2003

Our story began in 2003 when Pam and JD McCormick founded the Nature's Landing Management Company. JD initially worked as a painter for the newly constructed Natures Landing Condominiums, and he eventually rose to the position of managing those condos in the association. After deciding to offer vacation rental management services for other homes on the island, Pam and JD grew their business into Cedar Key’s largest property management company with a focus on friendly and responsive service.

In January 2023, Katie and Adam Stites took over McCormick Management with a shared love for the island that began on their first visit. With over 20 years of experience in real estate, including owning apartment buildings and vacation rental properties, Katie and Adam are small business people at heart. Their primary goal in acquiring the business was to maintain the personal small-town service McCormick is known for while also integrating new technology to enhance the experience for guests and owners.
