We’ve stayed at Salt Life in Cedar Key on five occasions now and will continue to return. As it’s a fully equipped town house on three levels, with two balconies, you have everything you need. The master bedroom double doors out to the balcony can be left open overnight (switch a.c. off though), so you get the sights and sounds of the gulf waters, which break on the rocks beneath the balcony. For first time visitors I’d recommend Historic Town tour by golf buggy, Bills pleasure flights from the town airstrip in his Cessna, Suwannee River Tours who leave from Fowlers Bluff. Restaurants and bars in the town are all worth a visit as is the Tiki Bar in the outskirts.
